Set in the Kent countryside, Bleangate Brewery is blessed with fields surrounded by ancient oak woodlands. The brewery taproom and shop, 'The Cathedral', is a special place to worship the product of the bine and the grain, a wonderful place to stop by for a glass or two of beer, a takeaway or join the faithful at Firkins at Full Moon, our monthly gatherings.

This Moon is referred to a Flower moon thanks to the abundant blooming that occurs as spring gets going properly.

Cruise Bereavement Marathon Walk
Sunday 21st April, we have the Cruse Marathan Walk. We have Tammy’s partner, the strong Adam walking along with 40 others! So please give them lots of support and encouragement. This is the walking version……. 26.2 miles around the Kent coast and finishing at the brewery for a well-earned beer. This is in aid of Cruse Bereavement Support. If you would consider sponsoring Adam, we have a Just Giving page Peter’s Fundraising for Cruse Bereavement Support. The walk will start at 7am and the walkers aim arrive back at the brewery around 3:30pm – all welcome to cheer Adam and the other walkers in! We will have live music from James Skelton and food available so please join us for the party. The brewery bar will be open from midday on Sunday.

The Pink Moon is named after a species of early blooming wildflower. In other cultures is also called the Egg Moon and the Sprouting grass moon as this is when the geese lay their eggs and the birds come back.
Easter Event
This Saturday we are holding an Easter Egg Hunt! All proceeds go to Demelza charity. All welcome, we hope to see you there.

Firkins at Full Moon in March
This moon is called the Worm Moon because it is the last full moon of winter in which worm trials would appear in the ground. It is also refered to as the Sap Moon, after the tapping of maple trees.

The Snow Moon is named after February’s cold, snowy weather. It is also referred to as the hunger moon or the storm moon.
Live music from 7pm from the wonderful Callum who will bring you a fun evening of blues and roots music with some of his own material too!

Firkins at Full Moon in January 2024
The first Firkins at Full Moon of 2024 will be Friday 26th January with Lee Thompson for some great songs from the 60s right through to the present day. Lee is a very talented musician and creates a great, fun atmosphere.
Firkins at Full Moon in January celebrates the Wolf Moon, named after the howling of hungry wolves lamenting the scarcity of food in midwinter.
So why not come along to enjoy some delicious freshly brewed beer, hear some good music and listen out for the wolves that we often hear from our neighbouring Wildwood?
