The Brewery

Bleangate Brewery

Our brewing water is heated by 'The Beast', a wood burning boiler that uses logs from our sustainably managed copse thereby minimising the uses of non-renewable fuels. Goody Ales are in fact, one of only a handful of UK breweries using wood-fired energy.

Our distinctively flavoured beers owe much of their appeal to the finest quality barley which is still floor malted and raked by hand by renowned traditional maltsters. With this balance of barley, hops, water and the magic of yeast, we create pure Kentish beer which answers the prayers of many a beer lover.

Events

Our Firkins at Full Moon events promise evenings in the brewery field with great music, brilliant company and, of course, the very best of ales.
